we are looking for TWO new local Aboriginal staff to work at wuyagiba in 2026. must be good role models.
35hrs per week over 4 x 6-week blocks on-country at wuyagiba. You will support the bush university students while they study during semester 1 and 2.
Accommodation, travel, training and wifi provided.
Casual pay rate from $32 - $40 per hour (negotiable) depending on your experience and skills. Committed and reliable staff may be eligible for a Part-Time or Full-Time position.
All staff need: photo ID, Tax File Number, Medicare Card and Ochre card (or get these when you start).
Administration Worker
Are you - good on computers, at sending emails, banking and pay attention to detail? WE NEED YOU!
Work as part of the Administration Team of three people
Manage Wuyagiba emails and enquiries
PAYROLL - help staff with daily Timesheets, email these to Accountant, and then process pays
Ordering food and supplies online, for delivery by Nighthawk
Pay invoices and prepare all the source docs for Accountant
Cultural Teacher
Work alongside Dr Helen Rogers to teach the Cultural Units at Wuyagiba Study Hub.
You should have strong local cultural knowledge and have some teaching experience.
Work each day in the classroom as part of the Cultural and Academic Teaching team to support Bush Uni students.
Must be reliable, respectful, a good communicator and have good literacy.
